BGR Architects, Inc. in conjunction with Teske Architects of Hobbs, New Mexico, responded to the University of the Southwest’s program to provide a new 96-bed dormitory for the University. The architectural team successfully met the University’s requirements, providing units comprised of two bedrooms for three students with a common central living space, all with exterior views. The structure consists of two, two-story wings joined by a common lobby with one resident assistant suite. The facility includes accommodations for the physically impaired along with a common kitchen unit and laundry facilities.
